I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
